STEP 1
CONSULT
From your initial engagement with Mustang Contractor our aim is to ensure that everything revolves around you. At this stage, we will reach out to gather all the specifics you desire for your project, take measurements, and much more.
In our first design consultation, our designers will explore your vision for the ideal backyard. We’ll delve into aspects such as size, functionality, style, and materials, ensuring we pinpoint what matters most to you in crafting the perfect design. Furthermore, our designer will assess the property for any terrain factors that may need attention, take measurements to gain insight into your available space, and capture photographs for use in step 2 – design.
STEP 2
DESIGN
Our outdoor living space designers start putting pencil to paper by providing detailed drawings of your custom outdoor project, all based on your design goals and wants. We will meet with you to discuss any further recommendations so we can confirm your design and finalize a price quote.
At Mustang Contractor, we tailor our designs specifically for you. Using all the insights we've gathered from our consultations, our designers will craft a plan that fully realizes your vision. Whether it's how you intend to utilize your space or the unique design elements—such as railings, lattice skirting, benches, and board designs—we prioritize your preferences and budget. Ultimately, this design and the new outdoor living area are centered around your desires. Once the design is finalized, we'll share it with you during your recommendation visit. When we are both confident in the design and the scope of work, we will move on to the next phase: building.
STEP 3
BUILD
Mustang Contractor handles every aspect, from obtaining permits to cleaning up construction debris. Our teams will transform your design into reality.
The building phase encompasses much more than simply constructing projects. Prior to the start of production, our team meticulously prepares blueprints, gathers files for building permits, confirms zoning requirements, orders materials, and handles numerous other details. We take care of all the intricate aspects so our clients can focus on what matters most. Our project manager will meet with the homeowner to outline expectations regarding timing, job safety, and more. As we work outdoors, we acknowledge that Mother Nature can be unpredictable; therefore, we will keep you informed of any timeline adjustments that may affect your project's completion. Once the work is finished, our team will tidy up your property and conduct a final walkthrough to ensure everything meets your expectations. This is what sets Mustang Contractor apart.

Learn About Our Custom Design and Build Process
I’ve just signed a contract with Mustang Contractor. How long will it take to build my project?
It depends on the size and complexity of your project, the weather, and the workload of your local office. Normally, projects can be turned around faster in the fall and winter (as opposed to the spring, which is our busiest season). Your local office should be able to give you an approximate start and finish date, subject to weather conditions and materials availability.
Do you build year-round?
The best times to build are during the spring, summer and fall, but often we can build year-round
Is it necessary to get a building permit?
Where a building permit is required by local code, Archadeck will secure that permit for you. You need this permit for three very important reasons:
It’s the law.
It’s one of the ways we protect you.
Some homeowner’s insurance policies will not protect you if an injury occurs on a structure that does not have a permit
How many designs do I have to choose from?
After our design consultation, our designers work on a custom plan specific to your budget and needs. We will present those plans during our recommendation visit and can make any edits or changes to the plans at that time. Once you're happy with the design, we'll get a contract signed and get you on the schedule!
Are you insured?
Yes, our locations carry at least one million dollars of general liability insurance, and their carpentry crews are covered by worker’s compensation insurance.
Can I get an exact price before I decide to hire Mustang Contractor??
Definitely. Our contracts help ensure an exact price for your project, barring any additional addendums that may be needed if changes are made to the design.
What kind of projects do you build?
We custom design and build decks, patios, porches, screened porches, sunrooms, gazebos, pergolas, and any combination of outdoor living structures.
Do you have a written contract that I will sign?
Yes. We supply you with a detailed contract to ensure we're all on the same page before we order materials or get started. Once you sign a contract with Mustang Contractor, you receive our National Project Guarantee which ensures your project will get built by Archadeck no matter what!
What kinds of wood do you use?
We build with all types of wood and are experienced with treated wood, cedar, redwood, tropical hardwoods, and low-maintenance composites and synthetics. You have a full range of materials to choose from.
